These Terms of Service govern your use of Build Siren’s website, subscriptions, and contractor intelligence reports. By purchasing or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Services
Build Siren provides subscription-based construction intelligence reports delivered by email and, when available, through interactive report links. Reports include aggregated public permit data, filters, and analytical insights.
No Guarantee of Outcomes
Build Siren does not guarantee project acquisition, business opportunities, revenue outcomes, or the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of source data.
Payment and Renewal
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
- Some customers may receive a promotional or trial period. Trials are temporary and may not be offered at all times.
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the applicable billing interval unless cancelled before the next renewal date.
Cancellation
You may request cancellation by emailing support@buildsiren.com. We will confirm the effective cancellation date. Once cancellation is effective, no further renewal charges will be made. Access and scheduled delivery may continue through the end of the paid billing period.
Refunds
Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or otherwise stated in our Refund Policy.
User Responsibility
You are responsible for how you interpret and use report data, for business decisions made using the reports, and for complying with applicable laws when contacting property owners, contractors, or other third parties.
Data Sources
Data is derived from publicly available governmental and municipal sources. Build Siren does not claim ownership of raw public source data. Source agencies may revise, delay, omit, or remove information without notice.
Service Availability
We do not guarantee continuous uptime, real-time updates, uninterrupted email delivery, or error-free reporting. We may modify, pause, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary to maintain or improve the service.
Intellectual Property and Permitted Use
Build Siren branding, report formatting, data structuring, and report-generation systems are proprietary. A subscription is for the customer’s internal business use. Reports may not be resold, publicly posted, or redistributed as a competing data product without written permission.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, abuse, unauthorized redistribution, violation of these terms, or payment failure.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Build Siren is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service or reliance on report data.
Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States.
